Power Of The Pack: Women Who Support Women Are More Successful

And by that I mean not successful in career or financial wise. I mean successful in live a life that is fully aligned.

I always say a woman alone has power; collectively we have impact.

The truth is that raising each other up and channeling the power of collaboration is truly how we’ll change the equation—and have a lot more fun along the way.

Why so Jealous ? The reason is in your Ovaries

BAMM - yeah that's right. We Ladies all know the rollercoaster ride we go through each month with the changes of the Hormones. Puh what a ride that is each month.

Especially during our inner Summer (Ovulation) our hormones affect how females view their potential competitors and cause them to behave more competitively. Our Testosterone Level is the highest in that time. We feel powerful, energetic and ready to take on everything that the world throws at us. Our self esteem is high on top, which is great. But the ego can be fed a bit too much.

Many studies implied that testosterone levels were one of the key factors in aggressive competitive behaviour in social situations.

Yeah Girl, so we have an excuse for our dramas and scene we make when we need to show who's the boss, but to be honest. we can do better than that no?

Women are here to hold community together

Women are the original culture builders. Women were Healers and Community Leaders.

When men were hunting and warring, women were building fires, telling stories and healing and feeding each other.

So, our Ancestors showed us how it gets done. Let us stick with this lineage.

Women are also phenomenal healers. Usually this comes through listening, which seems to be a skill most women are already good at, but healing also comes through shared experiences. As mothers, wives, working women, single moms, partners, and all the many, many roles women play, we have a vast number of shared experiences. Coming together and sharing those experiences with one another facilitates healing, it reminds us that we are not alone in this crazy world and this crazy life; for many of us, it’s a reminder that we are normal and healing is possible.

Compliment. Encourage. Empower.

There are so many amazing women in the world!

Be a leader - When a woman compliments another woman, she is leading the way to unity. Showing that it takes a much stronger woman to compliment another than to put one down.

Women specially need to be complimented by other women. Men throw compliments all the time, which is awesome, but way different than getting one from another woman!

A compliment does not need to be a keynote speech. Don't over think it, just give it, mean it, and

graciously receive it when given to you! We have enough to deal with without having to worry about being torn down by other women. The power of a sisterhood is phenomenally strong, it should never be taken for granted, and it should be all inclusive.

We need to reverse the stereotype that women don’t support other women. There is research that shows women in particular benefit from collaboration over competition. Study after study shows women who support women are more successful in business.

The reason? Women trying to rise up into leadership face cultural and systemic hurdles that make it harder for them to advance, such as unconscious bias. The study suggests that a way to overcome some of these hurdles is to form close connections with other women, who can share experiences from women who have been there, done that—from how to ask for what you’re worth to bringing your unique talents to leadership.

Pass on the sweet stuff, baby! Spread those warm and fuzzy feelings

is it easy for you to give a compliment?

  • yes super easy.

  • no not easy
